Valentines Day Date and Outfit Inspo in Santa Clarita CA

So here you are, in the Santa Clarita Valley. You've found yourself strapped between suburbia and chain restaurants, feeling slightly claustrophobic from the lack of excitement permeating from the town, self-dubbed "Awesome-town," wondering where all this awesomeness may be at. 

As 3 sisters born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley (and 2/3 being current residents), we have seen this town evolve and flourish. And yes, awesomeness can in fact be found, if you stray a bit off the chain restaurant highway and into the heart of our very own shop's community, Old Town Newhall.

Which brings me to the point of this blog....how to plan a great Galentine's or Valentine's Day in the Santa Clarita Valley and what to wear for it! 

If we were to plan the PERFECT Valentine's Day Date in the SCV, whether it be with your partner or your pals, we would most definitely make our first stop at Old Town Newhall's newest and most fabulous eatery, Eat Real Cafe. Not only does the new cafe boast fabulous interior decor, but the menu includes delicious cocktails, craft coffees and amazing entrees...the best way to kickoff your VDay morning! 

Next, we would cruise the hood! Old Town Newhall is a historic landmark in the SCV and the city has dedicated itself to making this area a burgeoning hotspot for LOCAL infused dining options, shopping, bars, and more! The cute little main street is filled with unique mom and pop vendors, where you are sure to find awesome wares from SCV locals. 

Naturally, we would encourage you to cruise by the shop, Salt and Freckles, to say hi and show off your Valentine's Day look that we helped you curate. My favorite easy pick for a Valentine's Day look is one of our cute and feminine dresses, with a chic denim jacket paired over, and boots or sneaks to top it off. We love the Hyacinth Dress with its chic open back, the Paros Cutout Maxi with its bright floral color palette, or the Cassie Checked Midi Dress in stunning soft gingham as great options for a daytime look to kill in.
