Salt and Freckles 2025 Trend Report - Fun Fashion Trends we will be stocking up on!!!!!

One of our favorite aspects of owning Salt and Freckles, is definitely the BUYING. Yes, because we are girls that love to play dress up and shop,  but more-so because we love the creativity and challenge involved in finding the perfect balance and mix of forward trending pieces, while still keeping lots of classics that never go out of style in stock. 

I really believe its this yin and yang that has made the shop successful year after year. And if we think about it, its also how we love to dress ourselves daily too!!! We love to affordably buy into fun new trends (because it makes getting dressed that much more fun), but in our heart of hearts, we love our style to be effortlessly classic at its soul.

So, here are some fun trends that we will be jumping on this new year, and can't wait to take ya'll on the ride with us!!! Its going to be a fun one, with lots of colors and prints!!!!

1. First up, is maybe our favorite trend to be...bold and fun stripes!! We LOVE this much anticipated pop of color in our closets and love all the fun ways to mix and match this bold pattern with others! Mix it with leopard prints, denim, gingham and mo First re. We love that you get to throw the rule book out on this one...its as if the bolder, the better, and we are here for a good fun statement to kick of '25 strong!

2. Another trend we will definitely be carrying with us into 2025 is the Moto Boho look! I can't really say we ever left this look behind. Its a personal fav of mine (Kasey says to always add fringe, lace and frills with a killer leather jacket or moto boot), but it seems as though this mixed message vibe is here to stay! Pairing as much frilly, delicate, ultra fem, creamy white linen lace with a funky moto piece (think boots, jackets, vests, hats, belts, etc) to add a little bit of edge to this girly vibe. We LOVE this aesthetic and can't wait to bring in even more to the shop!

3. The next trend we are excited to embrace more of into the New Year is polka dots! Polka dots are such a classic print and we are loving the inspo we are seeing of how to freshen up this timeless classic! We are loving the way its being paired with nautical stripes for a cool, fishergirl chic style that has NYC meeting Cape Cod in all the ways we are loving! We have a killer Free People polka dot skirt in the shop now that is the perfect piece to take on this trend with!!!!! 

4.  Animal print is going nowhere ya'll!! In fact, its making a bigger appearance than ever and no animal print is left out of this trend for 2025! We are seeing zebra, cheetah, leopard, and more, in all the colorways imagineable! Pair these fun prints with a clean bottom (think leopard print blouse with classic blue jeans and a chic belt) or spice it up by mixing and matching (think leopard print pants with a fun graphic tee that features a bit of cheetah print)!

5. Our last trend that we are living for this season in particular is the SUPER Romantic Feminine Frills! We are seeing gorgeous lace details and hemlines in gauzy fabrics that scream of renaissance era! Think ruffled necklines and details at the bust, corsets with lace and ruffle and button front blouses with peter-pan style collars!!! Pair these stunning tops with flowy and bohemian style midi and maxi skirts or keep it classic with clean or distressed denim.
