Freckle Favorites-This month we feature Kasey's favorite Trader Joe's Dump Soup, Kelly's must-have candle, and Kristen's go-to new mama must!

We are starting the New Year off with BIG plans of sharing more about ourselves. More about how we run the shop, more about our personal lives, our sisterhood, and some of our favorite things! Each month, we are each going to feature a current thing, experience, recipe, product, gadget, etc that we are crushing on.  We call this segment Freckle Fav's...buckle up and get ready for some killer recommendations from the saltiest sisters on the block.

To start things off with a bang, this month we will feature a recipe that Kasey can't live without, a candle Kelly gifted the whole family because she loves it so much, and Kristen's new mama must have. 

Kasey lives in the kitchen. Its her happy place and where she feels super connected (in her hippy way) to the earth and nature and being able to create something delicious that nourishes her family. So its no shock when asked what her favorite item is, she had a recipe ready! She went to Trader Joes and was able to grab all the ingredients for this slow cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup and dump em in for the most delicious and easy cozy soup recipe ever! Next up, is Kelly's fav thing!!! She is a home lover and has curated a gorgeous house with all of the details you would expect to find in a stunning abode.  So, its without too much surprise that she selected a candle. But let me warn you. This is not just ANY candle. She gifted these items to everyone for the holidays and it is hands down everyone's instant fav! She purchased this gorgeous Flamingo Estate Candle in the Ancient Agrigento Olive Tree scent from our fav local home shop, Kirk's in Canyon Country CA, and we have all gone bonkers over it since! You can also find this line in Mascot Aesthetics, located down the street from Salt and Freckles (on Main St)! You know we are suckers for plugging our local girl boss pals.

And last, but never least, our brand new mama, Kristen, has selected her go to mom gadget for her favorite thing. Who would have thought a pair of nail clippers could bring a gal so much joy, but the Frida Baby Clipper Set has done just that for our favorite gadget loving sister. She said that it is sooooo simple to trim those tiny little fragile nails with this amazing clipper set and has definitely become her most recommended item for new mamas!

So, there you have it! Our fist month of favorite things! We are so excited to do a deeper dive into our brand this year and take ya'll along for the journey!!!
