I would say that all 3 of my sisters and I are BIG fans of a great pout. And I don't mean lip injections ladies, although one of us may or may not subscribe to that (any guesses who...kidding, kidding). I'm talking LIP COLOR!!! I truly believe that a great lip color can be your best fashion accessory. A bold red lip can turn a basic white tee and jeans into a major moment. And the perfect nude lip can make your sweater and jeans feel so chic.

Which brings me to my lip quandary. I was getting glam for my big Halloween trick-or-treat in Baltimore the other day (I let me boys pick out my costume and they chose a great "scary clown" complete with a not so great wig, that needed a good lip to make me look less....how should I say this kindly...less awful). I called my sister Kristen in a panic, who is a lip color aficionado and asked her for her list of must have lipsticks. Boy did she give me the rundown, and some that I am now obsessed with! So, per usual, I thought...I gotta tell the people. Here are our go-to all time favorites and why!!!

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Balm $39

This was the one I bought for Halloween in a glorious red (127) and my sister owns and loves in a pretty pink (44). These go on so smooth, smell delicious and are very moisturizing!!! HIghly recommend!!!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Liners + Lipstick $34 + $24

If you love a matte nude/pink timeless lip this is your combo!!! I love how its the perfect combo of nude + color!!!! Add a shine with gloss if you don't love the matte look!

Mac Lady Danger Lipstick $21

If you want a fun pop of coral red that errs on the coral side, oh man is this your girl! Its all 3 of our favs and looks so great for a fun nighttime look when you want to add a bit of wow factor!

Nars Cosmetics Velvet Matte Lip Pencil $27

Kelly is a huge fan of the Nars Lip Pencils. Her go-to colors are Walkyrie, Damned and Dragon Girl. She loves how they go on smoothly and the color lasts all not (depending on how many cocktails your drankin).

Ilia Multi-Stick + Balmy Gloss $34 + $26

Kasey's (that's me) go-to for everyday makeup are these super versatile Multi Sticks (can be used on lips, eyes and cheeks) paired with the balmy gloss. I love that this line is a clean makeup line and the colors are super complimentary for a full look in less than 5 minutes! My fav colors in the stick are Put a Spell on You, and Tenderly and I love the Petals Gloss!

Natasha Denona I Need a Rose Cream Lipstick $27

The Natasha Denona I Need a Rose Cream Lipstick is the nude pink lipstick our fav makeup artists (Jami and Janae from Double Take Makeup Artistry) put on Kristen for her wedding and she LOVED it!!!! Daphne was the color and she said it is the PERFECT everyday color!!!
